Noah’s First Deer by Jason Boyd FHFH.org Ohio - -(AmmoLand.com)- This weekend I had the privilege to hunt with my 10 year old son Noah on a Youth Deer Hunt in Indiana. Noah took his first deer ever! A nice doe that gave him a good shot at 30 yards early Sunday morning. Noah has been praying and practicing in preparation for this opportunity. Noah’s First Deer He has put a lot of time in the woods and has felt the frustration of missed opportunity and tough days afield.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine myself watching for deer let alone taping them. But I did. I just wish I had better footage. This is a doe with her fawns that I’ve been seeing outside my office over the past few months. Just remember when all you hunters are sitting in your tree stands hours upon hours and see nothing, just think of me sitting on my deck petting and feeding my little wild outdoor family. There are woods behind my office and over the last year I’ve been seeing more and more wildlife. I’ve seen deer come and go, turkeys strutting through the yard and a few coyotes. I’m sorry for the bad pictures. I only had my camera phone with me. About 2 months ago there were 2 fawns and a doe just outside my window.
